Learning with Your Child

It’s never too early (or too late!) to start reading to children!

Learning with your child_photoLearning with Your Child offers tips to stimulate a child’s love of reading.  Designed for parents and caregivers of children from birth to five years old, the booklet explains how to create age-appropriate activities.

Research confirms that reading with children 15 minutes each day, improves their chances of developing the skills they need to succeed in learning to read and to write.

This resource was developed by the Yamaska Literacy Council and Literacy in Action (Lennoxville), through a project funded by the Townshippers’ Foundation.
